Accessibility is part of how we build.
Mango Discovery is a business-facing product. People should be able to understand it, move through it and complete important actions without unnecessary barriers.
We consider accessibility as we build public pages, account access, establishment forms and future portal tools.
The product will continue to change, so accessibility is treated as ongoing work rather than a one-time statement.

Important controls should be reachable without relying only on a mouse or touchscreen.
Visible Focus
Keyboard focus should remain visible so users can see where they are on the page.

Text, fields and important interface elements should remain distinguishable against their backgrounds.

Headings, labels and page order should help people understand where they are and what comes next.

Discovery should remain usable across desktop, tablet and smaller mobile screens.

We aim to use semantic structure, labels and interface behaviour that work with common assistive technologies.
Keyboard navigation
Mango Discovery is designed so important public navigation and interactive controls can be reached using a keyboard.
We aim to preserve a logical focus order and visible focus indication when moving through a page using Tab, Shift + Tab and other standard keyboard controls.
This page also includes a skip link so keyboard users can move directly to the main content.
Visual presentation
Mango Discovery uses a dark interface, but dark design should not mean low readability.
We aim to maintain:
- clear foreground and background contrast;
- readable body text;
- distinct headings;
- visible buttons and links;
- clear field boundaries; and
- layouts that remain understandable when the viewport changes.
Colour should not be the only way important information is communicated.
Forms and error messages
Forms are a major part of Mango Discovery.
We aim to provide:
- clear field labels;
- visible required-field indicators;
- readable entered text;
- visible focus states;
- clear validation messages;
- plain-language instructions; and
- enough context to understand what is being requested.
Assistive technology
Where practical, Mango Discovery uses semantic HTML, meaningful headings, form labels, button names and other structural information that can help assistive technologies interpret a page.
We also aim to avoid using visual presentation alone to determine the meaning of an important control.
Compatibility can vary between operating systems, browsers and assistive technologies, so real-world feedback remains important.
Motion and animation
Mango Discovery uses limited interface movement.
Where supported by the user’s device or browser, pages should respect reduced-motion preferences and minimise unnecessary animation.
Current limitations
Mango Discovery is being built in stages.
Some future account, establishment and portal features are not yet part of the public product, and accessibility testing will continue as those features are introduced.
We do not claim that every page, integration, third-party service or future feature is currently free from accessibility barriers.
External websites linked from Mango Discovery are operated independently and may have different accessibility practices.
