Mango Getaway is an international couples travel media and destination storytelling brand. We create and publish travel stories, destination guides, accommodation and experience features, editorial recommendations, photography, videos, digital publications and tourism-related media.
References to “Mango Getaway”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Mango Getaway LLC and its authorized representatives.

Your travel decisions remain your own responsibility.
You should consider obtaining appropriate travel insurance and reviewing official travel, health, weather, safety information and visa requirements before travelling or booking with our affiliates or partners or through any links on our website and platforms.
VII. Recommendations, Reviews and Editorial Opinions

XIV. Refunds and Cancelations
Refund and cancellation rights depend on the product or service purchased.
Any product-specific refund or cancellation terms displayed before purchase, included in a proposal or contained in a separate agreement form part of these Terms.
Unless a different policy is provided:
* digital products that have been delivered or accessed may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by law;
* completed audits, reports, consultations and other customized work may be non-refundable;
* deposits may become non-refundable once work has started or expenses have been incurred;
* approved third-party expenses may remain payable; and
* cancellation of a service may be subject to work already completed and commitments already made.
Nothing in these Terms removes a refund, cancellation, cooling-off or other consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
Where South African consumer law applies, any applicable statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act or Electronic Communications and Transactions Act will take priority over an inconsistent provision in these Terms.
XV. Tourism Partnership Enquiries
Submitting a partnership, media, sponsorship or establishment enquiry does not create a contractual relationship.
A partnership becomes binding only when:
* the parties enter into a separate written agreement;
* Mango Getaway accepts a written proposal or order; or
* the parties otherwise clearly agree to binding commercial terms.
Partnership deliverables, fees, timelines, usage rights, cancellation terms and content licenses should be recorded in the applicable proposal, service agreement, release or campaign agreement.
Where a separate signed agreement conflicts with these general website Terms, the signed agreement will control in relation to that partnership.
XVI. User Submissions
You may be able to submit:
* comments;
* reviews;
* photographs;
* videos;
* travel recommendations;
* testimonials;
* stories;
* competition entries;
* business information; or
* other content.
You retain ownership of content you legally own.
By voluntarily submitting content for publication or promotional use, you grant Mango Getaway a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, edit, format, publish, display and distribute that content for the purpose for which it was submitted.
This license does not transfer ownership to Mango Getaway.
Where broader commercial usage rights are required, those rights should be recorded in a separate release or license agreement.
You confirm that:
* you own the submitted content or have permission to submit it;
* it does not infringe another person’s rights;
* identifiable individuals have provided appropriate permission;
* it is not unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent or misleading; and
* the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
We may refuse, edit or remove submissions at our editorial discretion, subject to applicable law.
XVII. Reviews & Testimonials
Reviews and testimonials must reflect genuine experiences and opinions.
You may not submit content that:
* is fabricated;
* impersonates another person;
* contains undisclosed conflicts of interest;
* is submitted in exchange for an undisclosed benefit;
* includes malicious or knowingly false accusations;
* contains confidential personal information; or
* is intended to manipulate a rating or reputation dishonestly.
Any reviews or testimonials violating this term will be removed and user may be temporarily or permanently banned from participating on our platforms
Mango Getaway may provide incentives for feedback or participation, but we will not require a particular positive or negative sentiment as a condition of receiving the incentive.
Where an incentive or material relationship exists, it will be appropriately disclosed.
Not every submission will include incentives.
XVIII. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the website and its original content are owned by or licensed to Mango Getaway.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes Mango Getaway’s responsibility where doing so would be unlawful. This includes responsibility for fraud, intentional misconduct, legally non-excludable gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by legally actionable negligence, and any consumer right that applicable law does not allow us to limit or exclude.
XXIV: Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Mango Getaway against third-party claims, losses and reasonable expenses resulting from:

* your infringement of another person’s rights.
This provision does not require a consumer to indemnify Mango Getaway LLC for Mango Getaway’s own unlawful conduct, negligence or breach of a non-excludable legal duty.

However, this governing-law provision does not deprive you of mandatory consumer rights or legal protections that apply in your country of residence and cannot lawfully be waived.
Where South African law applies to a consumer transaction, mandatory rights under South African consumer legislation remain applicable.
